During this goverment shutdown

Well I been Furlough durning this goverment shutdown. I have decided to not waste the time. So I took a Skywarn class and got a skywarn certification. That was on Friday Oct 3rd, so now I am a weather spotter. Then last week I spent studing to upgread my Ham radio License from Technitian to General, and on the 11th I past the gernal exam. So now I am a Ham radio general class. I can now legaly transmit on more bands, and untill the FCC database is updated I just have to add /AG to the end of my call sign since I got the CSC from passing the test.

Well after those 2 things I am going to take a bit of a break today and tomorrow (congress does not meet again till tomorrow to vote again) so I am going to play a bit of video games (I have been ignoring my video games while studing for the gernal exam) I might look at other things to study if the goverment stay shut down beond Tuesday, but for today and tomorrow I am just going to enjoy some Yakuza 2.

I probably will try some 20m SSB later today and tonight might try some 40M SSB on the ham radio, but for now I am going to enjoy some video games.

Later one I will post pictures of the attena setup I have going for HF.
