Years ago I use to have a radio shack police scanner, but since most places have gone to digital/trunced system, it no longer worked. So today while I was at Ham Radio Outlet, I deceded to get one that they had as a open box deal. It is a Uniden BCD436HP. It is a nice one, but overly complicated, but that probably a “feature” of the trunced system. I had to jirry rig the Sentinal Software to work on my home systems. But once I got it programmed the way I want it should be easier to use, easy to use hard to program. I have programmed 4 Lists, one for home, and 3 for places I go resonably often. First Vianna VA where my church is. I have also added the area in FL where my dad lives. I also return to Pittsburgh at lest once a year, so I have added Pittsburgh stuff into it.
It is nice to have a police scanner again.
