Working out

I been biking allot but ignoring the rest of my body so I am thinking I am going to try to go down to the gym 3 times a week if I can and do some upper body work. Let’s see how this works out. I also have been using the exercise equipment my mother gave me, but I still have to do some work on repairing the NordicTrack, and I still need some clamps for the weight bar. But the other 2 pieces of equipment are designed to more focus on the mid-body. If I can do 1/10 of the workout on the other parts of my body that I put into biking I will be in great shap.

I hate going to the gym, it feels like a chore. So I work out at home when I watch the news. I walk 4 miles a day as part of my commute, so when I come home, I’m already sweaty. So I just work out while I watch the news. I do mostly stomach exercises, arms, and some chest. I bought two 10lb weights and they’re useful for everything, even stomach! I lift them 100 times for the biceps, then switch position for the triceps. I use them as extra weight when I do crunches on my stomach, you really feel the burn! You can lie down and lift your legs up to 90 degrees for legs and stomach at the same time. Do that 20 times and repeat three times. It’s good for your lower stomach. Crunches are good for upper stomach. I also do combo’s, do a regular crunch and then move the weight left and then right, it does your sides. You can also stand and do twists from side to side, that works the side abs as well. Just don’t do too much and don’t work out when you’re sore. Gradually increase. Also don’t forget to eat healthy, drink, and most important – treat yourself once in a while. If it feels like a chore then you’ll hate it and stop. If you don’t think of it as a diet, but think of it as your alternate lifestyle (I couldn’t resist!), then you’ll accept it more. I don’t believe in the formulas and other bull they give you. Drink this much, eat that much, blah blah blah. It all depends on how your body responds, so enjoy it. Let me know if you want any other tips, but I gave you pretty good ones.

  2. I don’t find going to the gum a chore myself. I just bike down after work, and you know how I love biking.

But I think I over did it on Wednessday. My left are still hurts like all get out.
