Well today sony annouced that starting Jan of 2028 that they will end physical media for the playstation. My response is, well I don’t need to buy new games after Jan 2028. And given the rumors about the potental price tag of the PS6, it will save me a lot of money, as I will not be getting the PS6. And it not like I need to buy new games, I have a great collection of physical games already. And to add to that all my other hobbies, my Large Sci-fi book collection, my large Anime collection on DVD/Blueray, my other DVDs/Blueray, my large Menga colletion. As I noted recently I am looking to get back into biking, I have my Ham radio, I play 2 instruments, and pittle around 2 other instruments. I have a large board game/card game collection, I am also certified as a SCUBA diver, so I have many other hobbies I can do, along with my old video games, and I know where there is a retro game store, so I can buy older games. I just don’t need to buy the new games, or new consoles. Sorry Sony you lost a customer starting Jan of 2028, no new games, and no new console, even if the PS6 comes out before that I still will not buy it.
