Got ride of my Echo Auto
Recently amazon decided to force an update on the Echo Auto, to the stupid Alexa+ I did not want it, months ago when they first tried it you could exit it. But last month they decided that they were going to force it and not let you exit or disable it. I refuse to use AI slop, so I when though all routes to see if I could disable and kept getting told I could not disable it. So since I can not disable it, I really don’t need it in the car. So I just disconected it, and trashed it. And since I Only had the alaxa app on my phone for the Echo Auto I deleted the app. Now I am wondering if I want to get ride of my other Amazon devices I have, as if they force the AI BS on me without my concent I fear they might force it on other devices. So far my home Echos are stated to be incompatable with Alaxa+ so for now I might keep them, till they try to force it there. But now I am looking at ways to spend less money on amazon. I have found many stores local to me where I can get most of everything I use to buy on amazon.
