Today as I was giving my pastors a lift to the airport, and on the drive out I saw the following 2 bumper stickers on the same car. The first was “Hate is not a family value” the second was a kerry sticker. The funny part is that the majority of the kerry base is built on hate, Hatred for Bush. So to see those 2 stickers next each other was a funny juxtaposion.

  1. Matthew says:

There is the assumption that people voting for Kerry _hate_ Bush. I’d like to think most people are beyond _hate_ for a man (although not likely). I think it’s a poor assumption that just because the man is a Kerry supporter that he automatically falls into the catagory of Bush haters.

Personally, I’m voting for Kerry because I think Bush is a bad president. He’s made mistakes that should not be forgiven. Between what his administration has done in Iraq, his lack at stopping Al-Qaeda, and his unflinching ability to make himself like a fool, I’d rather see Kerry in office. If the government was a company (in many MANY respects it IS) and he was the CEO, he would have been fired long ago.

  2. Well where I live (Pittsburgh) said assumption is going to be right about 80% to 90% of the time. Agreed it is only an assumption, and there for could be wrong, but from what I have experienced it might not be wrong, and I am not saying the person with said sticker is a Bush hater, I am just saying that those two stickers made me laugh because allot of Kerry supporters are Bush haters. Also I don’t know the gender of the driver so I don’t know if it was a man, could have been a women for all I know.

Also a small thank you. Usually I get trolls here, but you have at lest given a good response that is not nasty, you are the first pro-Kerry response that gets to stay instead of being deleted.
