Got my verizon DSL up and cancled comcast

Finally I am off of comcast. When I called in to cancel the comcast account talk about hostal, the person tried to tell me I did not know anything about computers and my setup was all wrong and I was causing my own problem. At that point I got angry and told him 1) I know what I am doing tell him I am not an idiot when it comes to computers, listing that I am a programmer and have a BS in CS 2) their own technicians saw my setup and said nothing about it.
I am just glad to have canceled the service (both internet and TV)

The speed results, not the fastest but if it stays stable it will be better.

  2. No I will not give out my phone number, just not a wise thing to do, I don’t give out my phone number to random people on the internet.

    I will give only the following the first 5 numbers on the account 05659 and the city name Indian Head MD. But I will not give out my phone number on the internet to people I don’t know.

    The most angry and vulgar customers are the least likely to get helped. When dealing with customer support please try to explain your frustration in a civilized manner, and be persistent if you need to. Just remember swearing and insulting us only gets you put on the back burner.

It was not I that was rude, it was the techs that were unknowable, and when I finally canceled it was the guy that I got that was rude, He asked why I canceled, I said because I was not getting any internet connection from 6pm to 8pm, he then said it was my fault and that I did not understand computers, when I said that I did understand computers and that I was a Programmer and hold a BS in Computer Science, he responded with don’t make things up and that I was just a moron. No it was not I that was rude it was the people at comcrap that were rude.
